Find a Vet
SUSPECT CANCER IN YOUR PET?
Take your pet to your veterinarian immediately. The veterinarian may conduct various tests, which could include blood tests, urinalysis, x-rays, tissue aspirate and biopsy, in order to make a diagnosis.
You may also want to consult with a veterinary oncologist. Like oncologists for people, a veterinary oncologist is specially trained to diagnose and treat animals with cancer. Veterinary oncologists work in veterinary hospitals and practices, and can consult with your veterinarian in the treatment of your pet. Your veterinarian may be able to refer you to a veterinary oncologist or you can find one in your area (see links below for help).
